Nebraska Senior Golfers:
I hope this good weather gives you a chance to hit some balls. The 2024 season is just around the corner, and Friday, March 1st we will open up entries for our 2024 summer schedule. All entries will be online and you must have your 2024 membership complete 48 hours in advance of entering any event.
Please visit the website to see the entire schedule. Again, we will open at Champions Run on May 6th. The last two years Champions has sold out, so find your partner and get signed up early. Other events at Firethorn and Dakota Dunes have also sold out well in advance so plan your schedule accordingly.
We have two new sites this year. After a three-year absence, we will be going back to Iron Horse in Ashland and also visiting Norfolk Country Club. The rest of the schedule is on the website and you will note we now have two events in September. Please review the schedule at www.nebsrgolf.org.
Big thanks to Fremont Country Club for giving up their course to us for two days in August for our state tournament. Also, thanks to Wine, Beer, and Spirits as our platinum sponsor this year. I want to give a shout out to Secretary/Treasurer Glen Kampschneider for handling the membership and finances, and Tim Janecek for his extensive work on the website. Finally, thanks to Ed Person for coordinating all the events. Your Board has been very busy this winter.
